Feedback?

Perhaps, every time someone has a trade or something like eBay, they leave feedback(which is like a vouch), then like if they receive some bad feedback, it goes down. Then people can find good traders and stuff.
Just a random suggestion from eBay.
Also, your feedback amount could be like just under your post count.

 

I think it would make sense to do this because you could see if it was a good or bad trade at a glance without trying to read a couple hundred vouches

No support I feel that people will abuse this by giving people bad feedback for no reason. Pretty much the same thing that people do with thread rating..They see 5 stars then they rate it 1 for no reason.

 

Their should be someone who is head of feedback, who will keep an eye out on any false feedback, the person who has received it falsely when they shouldn't have they could report it too a new sub-forum. Report Feedback.

 

How would a moderator decide if the person truly deserved bad feed back or not? and it could go the other way around, people giving feedback for trades that never happened.

 

Its been denied 400 million times due to it being unnecessary and too hard to implement.

 

I too think its a little pointless, We have vouches which count as feedback currently. Although not required, they are similar.

 

There are thousands of people registered on Sythe. How would one person go through thousands of profiles? It doesn't seem logical and the current vouching system is working fine.

How about, when leaving feedback you must make a post stating why and there is a way of symbolizing that post as a feedback statement. If the reason is not valid, then it can be reversed?

Well, everyone is saying that it can be abused, just a like a Rep system. How about, to leave feedback, you must quote a post and tick an option saying 'Leave positive feedback.' or 'Leave negative feedback.' and in that quoted post, you must state why you are leaving the positive or negative feedback. If the reason is not valid, then a moderator can reverse it and the person that received the feedback can report it.

Also, feedback can only be given every hour to stop spamming of feedback. If someone does in fact abuse it every hour, then they can simply be reported and banned.

When ticking the 'Leave negative or positive feedback.' box, the post will be easily shown as a 'Feedback Post' so moderators can carefully look over them.

This is only a suggestion for those who want this idea implemented to avoid abuse.

 

Seems like more unnecessary work just to leave a vouch. Also, if an upgrade seller sells 40 upgrades in that hour, he will only be able to get one feedback? This whole suggestion is pointless because the way its set up now works fine.

 

Doesn't seem necessary to me. If the trade deserves positive feedback, the person receives a vouch. If it deserves negative feedback, the person posts on the thread saying what went wrong. Really a trade is mostly successful or unsuccessful, therefore the vouch system seems to work fine to me.

And.... The rep system is on the DNS list... So, this should of been denied ages ago.
