Anonymous Feedback

I think a system for anonymity in Feedback needs to be implemented, especially for feedback against Staff, From my point of view, I could see some users scared/intimidated to speak out against staff members.

Personally, I have no problem with any Staff, but some others would, Its no point reporting it to other staff members, they'd pass it on to an admin anyway, and it could be an admin you're complaining about.

Im not sure how to implement this, so if anyone knows a good method. explain

No support to be honest, mods/admins can check the IP and just find it out, so whats the point ?

With a No-IP for the anonymous users they can just flame-away, so it's kinda pointless.

 

Should be a rule that staff aren't allowed to check (it could be admin-only viewable anyway). If theres flame, admin's could act appropriately.

 

I see where your coming from. If anyone wants to send me feedback I have an inbox for a reason.

It's a good idea but I don't think it would be very useful. You would get trolls bashing staff and if people have serious concerns they can just pm a global or admin to figure every thing out. So it's a "meh" from me.

 

It could have a similar no strikes rule to the personal support forum, whereby no shenanigans are tolerated.

 

It would be an interesting idea, but we get enough staff trolls as it is. Anonymous feedback might just be crazy.

 

I understand what you're saying, and I don't necessarily see how we can implant a system, but I'd appreciate feedback on how to improve some things rather than people just being scared of letting their true feelings out. But most of the time, bad feedback is usually flaming/trolling, and we can't really find out if they're being honest or just trying to be a joke. Like FireZ stated above, people can always PM the staff if they have an issue with a certain moderator. Not all feedback has to be released publicly.

Again, I'm open to anything that might improve my role as a moderator here on Sythe, whether it'd be positive or negative feedback.

 

Great idea. Usually any negative feedback is returned with hostility.

 

It's a good idea but staff are going to find out who said it, if they really wanted to.

 

I support if this could be made, its good in theory but

If mods/admins cant trace the comments it would equal random flames

If they could then its the same thing as just saying it face to face
