Now let's get this straight, just because somebody calls you a "noob", does not mean you are a noob, you a a newbie, So without further chit chatting, lets get on with it!

----1. The Combat----
Now, in Combat there are usually three types of fighting, magic, attacker and ranger, we will go through these three


Attacker/Fighter
Attackers usually use Strength, Defence, And Attack, these are not to hard to start off with, if your just beggining, usually because they dont cost as much, to train these, you should start off with the goblins. pickup most of the items they give you, move onto cows later on. Attackers usually use Two Handers, Swords, Scimitars, And Shields. All of these make a good Attacker, they might use prayer also, so they can protect themselves when "Pking", Also Know as "PVP", but simplier, Real People Fighting.


Magic
These Magic people usually carry around a staff, and a bag of runes, when you first start, and decide to be do magic, be warned that runes, will cost lots!, so it is a good idea to do a quest "Rune Mysteries". As you will be able to make your own runes later. When you wonder where your spells are, also click on the "book" tab, this will open your spells, notice that they look a little dull at first, that is because you need the required runes for a spell, or your level is not high enough, put your cursor over a spell and it will tell you the level required and runes required, when Maging, it is optional to stand behind something, as then your opponent will not be able to get to you.

---Ranger---
Rangers usually carry around a bow and bunch of arrows, yet again, arrows can cost a bit, so it is a good idea to do fletching, sadly, you cannot do fletching unless you are a member, which is a downside for rangers, but if you can find a money method, then just buy arrows off of the Grand Exchange!, yet again, it is optional to stand behind an object to attack!, Wielding bow and arrows is just like attackers, just click to attack!.


----2. Quests!----
When you start, you will probably get the introduction to quests in the tutorial. So, when you click on your quest tab, you can see the requirements, names and levels needed for a quest, a few easy quests to start off with are, Cook's Assistant, which can be done just inside lumbridge castle!, although you will have to travel outside of it, you can get the quest from the chef!.


----3. Getting Lost!----
Sadly, you can get lost in the wide world of runescape so, when you get lost go to your magic book, and click the button, which should be your first one. This will teleport you back to lumbridge, sadly, no experience points are rewareded in magic, but there are no runes required!

----4. Armor And Weapons!----
Armor and weapons can be bought, from grand exchange, and other various stores, but mainly, people make them from smithing, which comes from mining, the order for the armor and weapons, goes like this
Bronze
Iron
Steel
Black
Mithril
Adamant
Rune

its VERY basic, somebody who has read this will not be any wiser when it comes to RS.
This just sais: yes you can attack with melee ranged and magic. yes there are quests, yes there is armour.

Sorry but this just does not cut it.

 

this is the stupidest post i have ever seen.1 you are in the wrong section. 2 anyone who know about runescape obviously knows about what you just said. this is completely pointless.

 

You might want to correct your post before calling another persons post stupid.
He is just trying to help, people who have never played runescape before will not know that, yes he posted in the wrong section but it can easily be moved without people like you flaming him.

 

If this is suppose to be a full guide over all of runescape then I can't say it's pretty good to be honest, a good summary but not much in depth. Wrong section also btw.

actually for one. any new player to runescape isnt going to know anything about this site before they even decide to make any interest in this game. so why would they randomly come to this site not even have played the game? that is like me going to world of warcraft cheating site and read guides off a site and have not even played the game. pointless.

 

I have been on this site for a while and I have no idea what so ever about World of Warcraft, I would haven't the slightest clue of how to play it.
I have also never played Aion.

This site isn't specifically based on runescape, I could find a guide like this for WoW and I could find it very useful. Think before you post.

 

Not bad for a simple guide, but everyone on this site will already have a vast knowledge of everything mentioned.
