what are these Ip Audits?

Hi guys, I was having a look through these Ip Audits and can't really work out what it is? can these be proxies and home Ips? Maybe it's a retarded question, Can this also help you not be scammed? I noticed alot of people's Ip Audits is just all over the place and has the same Ip to banned accounts what put me off buying their services.

 

Hello! IP Audit is a tool used to help user's identify possible ban evaders/scammers. Matching with someone doesn’t necessarily mean there is a connection between them. If I go outside and use my cellular service to post on this website, it will also connect me to those who did the same in close proximity. What you want to look for is a Home IP match which isn’t something users can identify just by looking. Only staff members have that capability. Basically, it is a rough estimate guide. Hope that answers your question.

That's very useful actually, I was seeing all these connections and thinking wtf.

I may have put in a wrong report about someone thinking they was self vouching, Can i change this?? Can you check this out on the violation bit for me?

If you have a feeling that someone may be linked to another person and report them, there is nothing wrong with that. A staff member will determine whether there is a link between those people if the evidence is sufficient enough. There is no penalty if there doesn’t happen to be a link. It is important to come up with as much evidence as you can to help the staff member come to a just-determination.

For example - You can’t just say “billy bob” has an IP audit match with banned member “quintolp” and leave the report as is. There is no other evidence to support that. In your case, if you believe the person to be self vouching with a person who has an IP audit match, then that is enough evidence to warrant a report.
