Favorite Runescape Memory?

befriended this noob once and helped him out. Then i quit for around half a year and start again. I see again and he was MUCH higher level than me.

 

First time playing Runescape

 

Luring, pking edge, merching w2 fally and winning 2 phats in a stake.

 

Many good memories on RuneScape. Specifically the RSC days. However, the best memories where the merchanting days. World 2 behind falador park where the party hats were sold. Goood times. I could wirte a whole essay on the old times in RuneScape... kinda wish sometimes I could turn the clock back.. hmm.

 

When I nolifed for a straight week and got 1k gp from goblins in 06 =)

 

Here is my story:

My favorite runescape moment was a few months after I lost my whip at the green dragons (was so stupid to attack some people and then got a skull got tbed and sara striked fergot to put on protect one item cause I was such a noob . Well ok its like 2-3 months later and I tought well wth lets try some rc pking (it was still the old school wildy witch I love and adore) just got 82 magic and I tought why not try ice blitz. So i walked into the wilderness (yes I walked in not hop over that "bitch" thing there lies now) and I ran to the zammy mage.

After about 15 min I saw some level 91 walking in the wilderness (didn't saw what he was wearing) and i thought: omg lets k0 that n00b! Well i start ice blitzing him and till my big fright i saw that it was a rune pure. The reason that I was so frightened because he was wearing a whip just like the one I lost that faithfull day in the wilderness at the green dragons. I thought omg im going to die now, but after I thought another thought came up. That thought was: If I keep bursting him he can't attack me! So I started bursting him and after a moment of 2-3 I saw he forget to take some teleport runes.

So after I killed him I saw to my big happiness that he forget to put on protect one item (just like i did at the green dragons). And then I looked on the loot drop i got, and till my big happiness I saw a whip was dropped . I was so happy that moment and I ran to the edgeville bank and traded some lvl 105 over and over again till he screamed: Wat the fuck do you want? I said look at the drop I got! and he said awesome and hes friend came to walk up to me and said: trade me to I want to see what you got! And I traded him and he to said awesome!

Then I picked up the phone and directly called up a mate of mine that played runescape to and when he picked up the phone and started talking I said to him: geuss what I got in the wilderness?! And he said: what did you get ? And I said you know I lost my whip at the green dragons a copple of months ago? And he started to laugh and said: yes that was pretty stupid! Then I answered him: Well I got it back from the wilderness with full rune and a glory! And after that I started to explain him the story I told you now!

Well this is my best runescape memory that I got till now. I know its a pretty long story but I hope you can make up some time and read it Cause it took me quite some time to type down this story for you guys. And the last thing I want to add is:

Keep on playing runescape guys, its the only MMORPG I stick with and the only one that i will keep on playing till my mid 20's!

i remember when getting a santa, then i sold it for full rune. wish i could go back in time and not sell all my rares and stuff for junk

 

making my first pker and me and a friend owned this lvl 10 mage and i got sexy loot that was like trout,runes,mage gear,and a nice staff of fire. Back when the old wildy was kickin'

 

when i reached 1m and bragged about it.

Old wilderness was so good, Jagex could ask 100$/month for a chance to play in the old RuneScape lol.

 

Haha, All these are funny.

I remember in about 2003 I was playing and i was a total noob.
I was in the little underground tunnel at Draynor. i was fighting the skeleton's there and one of them dropped gold so i was was like holy shit! so i kept fighting until i have 10k. So then i went to varrock and totally bragged about it.
Until, someone showed my like 285m and i was like.....Holy shit I'm Fucking poor. Haha good days.

I think my best memory is looting all kinds of stuff when people died to the old random events (golem, river troll, zombie, shade, swarm etc.) right after RS2 had been released because they didn't know random events exists, and jagex hadn't made randoms always show up on the top of the pile if there were people standing in the same square so many people didn't realize they were being attacked and died with valuable stuff (I even saw someone die with a green partyhat at Karamja but I wasn't quick enough to loot it). The best I ever got was ~1M gp from someone who died to a river troll at barbarian village. At the time it was enough to buy a santa (200-300k at the time) and a red mask (300-500k at the time).

I miss rapidly closing doors on people who were being attacked by the high level zombie or shade randoms so they couldn't escape and then watching as they paniced and died, and after they were dead I could take all their stuff and mock them via pm :'(

That area definitely didn't exist in 2003. I'm fairly sure it was added along with Desert Treasure.

played rs is 2002 when i was 7, and my friend gave me 2k gold, and i told my parents i was rich in the game called "Runeys Cape"

First week of playing, I remember dying to a cow, I'll always remember that.

But the best memories I had were when a bunch of us RL friends would play together, those were the best days.
