Will Gold Prices ever go back to .50/M +?

I'd love for that to happen again. Unfortunately we'll need to see some sort of gold sink or increase in demand for this to happen, and a pretty significant one for a long time for this.

 

It would be cool to just to some more of the GE tax being put to work. That shit rakes Insane money daily. I really don't see it actually wiping items out of the game as they say it does. I think respectfully, they need to recalibrate it, crack down on certain botting platforms that are just completely outdated (osbot, dreambot, tribot, bottinghub bs, Runemate, etc...) that they know they really shouldn't even allow in the game at this point I guess other than to generate bond money for them, and see if they end up sinking or creating GP in the game, as most creating even 200k a hour are banned in 72 hours on those platforms.

 

I can confirm that these botting softwares still contain majority of the gold farmers and do end up lasting more than 72 hours for majority of the case, minus when jagex does ban waves.

I personally think the anti-cheat team doesn't ban because it generates money. And atm they're too small that their focus changes weekly.

 

IDK I personally used to use them all previously and never got anything near results I experience today with newer platforms. I see so many scripts for sale on those sites that haven't been maintained in years using old old methods of interacting with the game. The anti-cheat team definitely has a rough plate with so much going on and not enough man power. Its a weird world we Scape in my friend.

 

Realistically there's close to no chance for it. Entire game economy would have to be swapped upside down and that'd generate big problems if it comes to supply of high-consumption items.
RSGP has always been currency with quite big inflation, if there was supposed to be solution for it it'd be implemented long time ago.

I doubt it, because there's about 2x the GP per player than there was when it was 50 cents, it would seem. Not unless they made a communist NPC that bans accounts with banks worth more than 1-2 billion.
