Banned for Treason?

I'm developing a new program, that'll make a list of possible bots in RuneScape, then display them on a webpage where people can search people's names, etc.

Would this be allowed, even though I'm a member of Sythe.org? (would I be banned for treason?)

No...? First off I don't think you can make one the way you are trying. Second Sythe doesn't care if you are catching botters. Spyike was a p-mod and he said once he spent most his day catching some botters and no one said anything.

 

How would you go about doing this? Run around and note down their names yourself or what?

I just don't see it happening.

No..i'm pretty sure we don't and have not ever banned for treason. It's not like all Sythe.org users never report botters.

You're fine, and i'd be awed at your programming skills if the program actually worked.

So you're coming up with a program that compiles a list of people who use bots?

 

Not sure how you would go about doing that.. but this isn't really a botting site so I'd guess it would be fine.

Sythe is more than RuneScape, so no - we don't really care too much.
