ADVICE on using paypal to buy/sell

Hello just lookin for solutions on how to not get scammed through paypal.
I'm going to be selling a few things in the near future. And would like to know the safest method and how the method works with a middle man.

CC verified paypal users can dispute gifts.
Don't think even C&C helps against CC verified.

 

Make them always use the gift option with a note attached saying they have already gotten the item and aren't going to dispute the transaction. Also it is best to stay away from people that have a CC attached since they can dispute it with their credit card company instead of just with paypal. Good luck doing safe trades.

 

The above advice is really good, i'd just like to add that some sellers have recently begun accepting the "payment owed" option. This is not recommended. Whenever you sell something have your buyer pay as a gift, preferably with a note attached. No exceptions.
