I made a pricecheck on powerbot.org. 2 people responded and they gave a estimated value between 250 and 400 dollar.

    My question:
Why would he need to contact you if you have clearly mentioned to contact James if anyone wanted to sell accounts?

Oh, and to the people who say I can't proof I got scammed. Will said that, and I will see if I can proof it tommorow. The way Will asks proof about the fact I got scammed by James is ridiculous. If it would be up to him, probably every scammer on this forum should be unbanned for lacking proof against them.

smells like the perfect scam to me.

I think that rs2 should pay him back. Simple really.

But maybe it isn't is fault.

What I learnt from this is how to scam:

Firstly, I'll make a new account and have the full backing of this account, Cosrob97.
Secondly, my new account and my other account (cosrob97) will open a skill training shop, get a couple of good purchases or so and complete them. About a week after opening the shop I'll get my other account to start taking all the orders. Once I have about $500-$600 worth of orders, I'll get my other account (cosrob97) to request a ban for him. Since I didn't scam him - I shouldn't need to pay them back and I end up scamming $500-$600.

To avoid the ip thing I'll use a proxy or a friends computer.

Not saying R2 is James... but this is how snappie got scammed.

    In response to:

    [from IRC]

You said you trusted James because you did several trades with him, that I'm presuming means that you didn't need people telling you that they wanted to sell you their accounts because James was doing the "work". I might also add that you said on your thread to contact James about account sales, so why should people have to speak to you about trading when they can take your word for what you said?

This adds substance to my question.

Won't be buying from R2P in the future then, lost my trust.
Hopefully this gets resolved by R2P refunding.

Care to extrapolate? In all honesty R2 should be responsible for paying at least half if not all, it was R2s fault the trade even happened.

Listen guys, I spoke to him on IRC. He bought the account off an Estonian seller on Sythe. The odds are the seller recovered the account. There is no way for him to disagree with the fact that it was a totally insecure account.

I think there's enough information in this thread to let a staff decision decide what needs to be done. I'm waiting for one of the admins to say something

    The guy scammed multiple people.

An admin has, Pen already said Will should pay it back since his associate scammed.
