Jagex, botting, ridiculous?

I'm not botting god, I don't have a billion accounts that I bot on to prove this. But I'm just gonna' throw in two cents here.


SO. I have 3 accounts, I've botted on all of them.
2 of the accounts, I do not care about - they do have decent stats.

Example A.


I have succesfully (kind of suicide) botted over 150m on, and 40m + EXP.
This account has been botted for 48 hours twice, has been stuck in a random for 11 hours, and has been trying to do an action for 7 hours straight.

It has been botted for 12+ hours at least 10-20 times, and 24 hours at least 5.

This was all a few months ago, nothing happened.

Example B.

100% botted, over 20m total exp.
10m+ bank, all powerleveled.

This account has been botted for 48 hours straight twice, and has been botted for 24 hours straight five times.
It's 100% botted, and has done Soulwars/Fishing.
It has over 90 Fishing, and Strength. The rest of the stats are 1.

This has been over a period of about 2 months. On and off suiciding.
Nothing's happened yet.

Example C.
This is a more sensible approach to botting, as it has been done in moderation. Yet a lot has been achived.

Over 2 million RC XP botted, this includes ~40M+ in gold.
~ 1.5m Thieving XP botted, all overnights (9-10 hours over a period of days)
~ 1m mining botted, all 5+ hours at a time.
~ 3m Ranging EXP botted, in soul wars.
~ 2m Hunter XP botted, all 5+ hours at a time.




Three examples probably aren't enough. But Jagex's current macro detection systems fail. Other examples of why they do - If you haven't heard/seen, they're currently doing on-the-spot bans. A.K.A Jagex Mods going to places where bots are and ingame banning them.

They're too stupid to look at accounts that have played for long periods of time (24+ hours) and being slightly suspicious. If you can do this 5-6 times on your account and get away w/o a scratch. They fail.

I personally think botting is going to be extremely out of control, no I don't care. It's great.

Well sure, you got that far.

If you keep going like that, though, your chance of ban can only increase.

 

I liked my example:

A) Suicide, 24/7 Soul Wars
B) Botted 6 hours a day, killing flesh crawlers.

B got banned.

I couldn't agree more. Bots are kind of ruining the game -- but I think it's a good thing. I remember playing like 5 years ago and training on low-level ftp monsters and talking to people.

Now, all these people are bots.

Skilling is awful now as well. The only thing that ever kept me from extreme boredom was talking to others, but nooo, that doesn't exist anymore.

 

Their botting detection system is horid

 

Just like you're not a botting god, jagex is not botting detector god. Botting scripts change every day. Jagex can't keep up with all of them. And just because someone plays for such long hours, doesn't mean they're botting. I know friend who's top 15 overall who plays more than 17 hours DAILY.

 

They suck at detecting bots, enjoy it, suicide more.

 

Personally if they brought back old wildy i'd stop botting. Till then I need to bot RS Gold to make up for the shitty drops I get pking.

 

They probably don't even care anymore, as like 50% of the players are botting, and the rest are either F2P or won't play longer than a week.
