Pay for a rank in a merch clan??

I had NO IDEA where to put this thread and I greatly appologize for that but i knew this is one of the more patrolled areas. Point me in the right direction and ill be happy to go there (or just move it if a mod sees it )

On that note, any idea how paying for a rank works or how one would do it the "right way"

ive been looking into this and would be willing to pay considerably for a long standing spot on a decent merch clan. any input is greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

 

Historically, any person selling ranks or trying to sell ranks within a clan has failed miserably or scammed and been banned. I would be VERY cautious when seeking to do this type of trade unless the member is EXTREMELY trusted on the forums.

Also just because you get ranked, you still won't profit unless you became a genrel and get to prehoard the item before its announced. They only give very little stock to ranks.

I suggest you take a look here i can vouch that this is a legit rank in a very good clan

 

There are several well known in game scammers ranked high up in that clan.

 

that clan made those gloves 12x or some, that's like a bil into 12b, that's insane profit, took months but that'd be worth it, idk anything about selling ranks and section, wouldn't be here though i wouldn't assume. if you do find somebody who will do it and is legit i'd go for it, because it's obviously amazing cash lol. if not you can buy an item on here like fury kit disk pumpkin etc, trade it on rs forums for risings, same thing and much easier and it doesn't get messy that way.

 

its the biggest waste of money everrr haha unless u buy a general spot... but would take some time to make enough profit to = the money u spent on the spot

You should do it only if:
1) They're trusted
2) You can pay for gen
3) You have an experience in merchanting

 

To me they all seem like a bunch of scams, I wouldn't buy into a merchanting clan unless they are fairly trusted.

 

Or try and find one and make friends with the head peeps.

More then likely they WILL dump early on you..

 

So far every merch clan rank seller has been banned. Even the one that had 100 vouches or something like that. I would HIGHLY suggest not buying ranks in clans.

 

Your probably better off getting together with some friends you trust and start your own buyout. Less risk and cheaper.

 

You should also keep an eye on the clan, etc. before you actually pay for a rank. Don't just pay for a clan you just found out about, see how it works. If you do decent without a rank than you may be able to trust the clan enough to buy a rank and do better.

You can't ever be 100% about anyone though.

Hopefully this thread makes it perfectly clear that the majority of/all merch clans selling ranks are not legitimate. Don't do it. If you really plan on joining a merch clan, make your own with friends, or just use the cash to buy GP from a seller on Sythe such as King Tijn 2.
