It's not ethical but it's what's deserved. You asked a question of fairness and this is my answer.

I would say yes, but then I look around at where our money is going to. Just recently in the city of Knoxville they spent $4,000,000 on an apartment complex FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE.

Is that FAIR? They tax us, then spend it so homeless people can live in luxury.

Taxes are needed to a certain extent.

Tax discrimination is not thievery; you contradicted yourself.

Yes I believe taxes are needed to sustain government spending, however, I believe that a flat tax rate should be applied in the United States. People who make more money shouldn't have to pay more taxes, the person making more money worked harder to make that money so he shouldn't pay the price for it.

    The current system is ridiculous.

I'm only going to present one piece of evidence, because it totally destroys any logic you can put forth about the value of taxes.

Annual taxes...people have QUIT the IRS because there is no law saying you have to pay them. Go through the constitution, go ahead, do it. Not a single obligatory phrase. It's stupid. But you better believe they're consequences if you don't cough up.

What specific annual taxes are you talking about? What i've read so far, annual taxes = income taxes.

its needed, but much of the tax dollars are lost through the process of democracy and through pork barreling. Like take the example of the bridge to nowhere. The bridge is a complete waste of tax payers' money, but the road across my house barely gets enough funding to expand it.
