Fury Prices -- Outrageous?

Ok so I am starting a thread...hoping to figure out some opinions on the recent rise in the price of Amulets of Fury. I believe that the price rise is EXTREMELY annoying...I had bought my original for 6M gp but now have lost access to the account I bought it on...and had never bought another, and now will most likely never will. 20M gp is just outrageous in my opinion, for an item that is only barely better in certain stats to an Amulet of Glory (70k gp) In my opinion, the price of this item should never be above 10M gp.
Anyways, post your responses, agree, disagree, why, etc. Post away! ^_^

 

It went up to 20? I had mine last week at 16M...

 

I wouldn't worry. Prices go full circle, it'll deflate again shortly. It could be getting merchanted.

 

Farcast is right, at the moment it is high because not many people have bothered to get 2.8m tokkul but now that the prices are up people will camp there and get enough to lower the price and then every one will leave which will bring the prices back up again, etc.... It's just a big circle.

 

It will drop in a matter of time but easy money for those that had a few fury's in the bank.

 

Not really, unless a substantial portion of the newly-made furies are taken out of the game again via PVP deaths etc.

I don't know whether enough people die with furies to sustain the high price indefinitely.

 

woo glad my friend helped me with this one, i bought 10 furys at 16m ea and made 40m profit

 

yea i think they are too expensive . I might start camping there though

 

the only reason theyre so expensive is because of the inflation of uncut onyx because they are worth so much more street price

Honestly I don't see Fury dropping any time soon.

 

I think it's just inflation. I don't think they're being marched. Due to 2/3 of the runescape population are botters there is much more gp going around (wich would cause items to be in demand because every 1 has cash)

Just my opinion.

 

Well, it has done nothing but rise for over 6 months, and the last time it had a considerable drop was about August, which was a drop of about 1.5M.

 

That's crazy. How long did it take to get to 20 from 6?

 

It looks like its getting merched or something dude, and I agree that a fury definitely isn't worth like 20 mil.

Furies will never drop over the long term. The rate they are produced is slower then the rise for their demand.

Agreed, furys will keep rising, due to tokul update, and there won't be any updates, they won't drop.
