Saw another sig like this and thought i would try to copy it XD. I quite like the result it was fairly easy to make.

 

I think antialiasing would have made it better. Parts of it also look bad.

You have half a sig that has a lot going on while the other half is fairly plain.

I don't know much about GFXin', but I think I'm right here.

 

You are right the right side is flat. tryed fixing it but nothing seemed to work :/

It was a fairly simple tag only took around 20 minutes to finish.

ive used this tut aswell. ended up with me using a render instead of text :/

anyway you need to add a gradient to your text

 

those lines look a bit lq imo, but other than that I like it.

 

I didn't use the "tut" can some one link me?. It's quite easy to do.

 

I've actually got the signature I think you used saved on my computer for inspiration as well ^_^
As surj said, you need to add some coloring to the text - a gradual purple to blue to white gradient would look quite nice, keeping a white overlay though. With this you should also add some lighting, treating the text as an object that has shadows and highlights cast on it dependent on its surroundings

 

took your advice and tried changing some things up.

 

So so so so much better! That looks sick ^_^ One of your best I would say. Nice depth and lighting - and I really like the c4d work.

 

The text is too bland. Maybe if you make the sig as a whole more monotone, it won't be as bland.

V2 Is awesome by the way, makes it look like the text is back...Good Depth

 

I like how it's clear and the focus isn't in the center of the picture but I can't get past the font style.
