    I like guitar hero, because I just got used to it before I played Rock band, and I like the song selection more.

    Guitar hero, I don't like rock band because you have to hit the note a little bit after it hits the bottom where as in guitar hero you can hit right before and playing both really messes me up.

    Rock Band or Guitar Hero?
    I played guitar hero 3 as my first game, then guitar hero world tour, then rock band 1, then 2, and now I prefer Rock band 2.

    I don't really listen to pop-rock, modern rock, which guitar hero tends to have now. I like Rock band 2 because of the variety of songs that you can download. I want to train on drums with really difficult songs, and death metal has that difficulty, which Rock band 2 has death/thrash/core metal and stuff.

    Definitely Guitar Hero, and yes they did start to suck after GH 3, but Warriors of Rock is similar to 3 and is much better than the ones before it.

    This. I find that Guitar Hero's songs are better. Although, I like Rock Band just because I can play different instruments.
