The Value of A High Post Count

I think people use postcount to guage your involment in the community. And since so many people are banned on sythe they believe that if a person hasn't been banned and they have x amount of post their more trustworthy.

True, but join date is a more accurate representation of this.
Please explain why you think so.

I believe you should look at vouches first and foremost. That should be prioritized for any trader. Then compare join date and post count according to personal preference.

The more vouches you have/the higher your position the more you have to lose when u scam.
This way the risk of being scammed is getting smaller huh

It doesn't matter. You should only trust those you deem trustable.

I think the point he is trying to make is anyone can scam, vouches or post count being high they CAN always scam, doesn't say they will but there is always that possibility, and I agree with him on that.

OMG IM POSTING THIS BECAUSE I NEED A FREE POST BECAUSE I NEED PEOPLE TO TRUST ME!!!!!!!

I rarely, rarely, rarely look at post count to determine trust. To me, these are the only relevant things to a successful trade: Has this person completed similar trades in the past? Has this person donated?

Similar trades to me means: If I'm buying an account, I want to see if they've sold accounts before. Other vouches are nearly irrelevant (unless there are a lot of them). Account selling is very different from skilling. Oh, and a worthless vouch in my opinion? Selling 76k's. -_-

Donor status is also important. For example, if I'm selling $8 in junk to a $25 donor, I'll probably go first. Why would they risk a $25 donation for an $8 trade? The only time this happens is if they plan on enough scams before they get banned, but it's pretty unlikely.

I don't even look at join date. Someone can have made an account to buy a Fire Cape back in 2008 and then forgot about it for now. Also, there's a small trade for old, abandoned Sythe accounts on other sites like FuckJagex.com. Join date doesn't mean much to me at all.

There are loads of people who have donated and then later on scammed.

I would definately be more inclined to trust someone with a higher post count.. i guess its just bcause they would obviously care if they got banned :p

I don't value post count or vouches. I trust people I know but I'll give anyone a chance unless I have reason not to.
