auto merch?!?!?! say what?

i was in GE and some level 127 was complaining about noobs that use an "auto merch" im like wtf is that

is this even possible? to have a bot that would look up prices or the ge and buy and sell like crazy? for a price to rise significantly you'd have to wait weeks unless someday your climbing boots went to rock climbing boots...

if this exist anyone know where to find one? or if its legit?

This refers to merching with a "Merchant Clan" in the game there are no scripts for merching, atleast no legit scripts. Flipping falls into this category also.

i was assuming it would be possible to script "buy this" at "x" at "15% increase of GE price"


this is all assuming you could leave your bot in the ge standing there for more thn a week atraight so it can run

Personally I'm not a programmer but seems to be not impossible but maybe a little more then can be made at this time. But remember I'm not sure. Just seems like if a bot was able to do that its basically like AI then "artificial intelligence". Because a lot of merch is being able to study prices and knowing when the price is going to change.

But then again I'm not sure not a programmer.

Would be pretty impressive if someone could make such a program.

 

like you said im not a programmer either but i think someone could do it, my friends perfect fighter list current GE prices on screen, so i think if you have an extremely updated list of GE prices or just the prices of your items it would just search that list until it rose to a certain percent and if it sell its next task is to seach for cheaper items that you yourself list.

The thing on the perf fighter is simple compared to what you are talking about. I don't think it would be possible, or too complex for just runescape.

 

yah basically what per fighter is doing is say "collects a bone" well just takes the mid price for that item and adds it up.

 

it has a data base though on my friends computer is loads the lastest GE price list, probably nexus or thr programmers just got the list of GE prices

It was said before, it would need an advanced AI. Other wise, it would be buying most items that are increasing, which is alot. For it to analyze items and select which would be a possible merch, be some hardcore programming.

If there was a script that could do that, and be successful, I would easily pay $100 for it.

 

I seem to recall that their was a script on rsbot awhile ago that would constantly check g.e and place an offer when an update was detected but I may be mistaken.

Ya just sounds like an uninformed description of your standard GE snipe bot to get rares.

 

powerbot has a sniping bot which can be used to snipe rares and bought out items.

I haven't heard of an merchenting bot like that buy there are bots with autotypers that auto accept trade offers and then buy the items.
