Agoraphobia... So thats just like being scared of crowded places or what? I googled it and that's the best it came up with.

 

For me personally, leaving the house is a struggle. I do it frequently, but whenever I do it I always panic and sweat violently. If people are looking at me, I tend to abort whatever I'm doing and try to escape from where I am. I don't like crowded places at all, either.

 

Sounds tough...What do the meds do to help you?

 

Well if you are able to get an Ativan prescription I would highly recommend it, completely stabilizes my mood when I take it. I had problems going to school because I didn't like bring around all of the people, started taking Ativan and now I make it through the day just fine.
