Fun Logic Puzzle Thing

I had to do this for my girlfriend and it was pretty fun, so I'm posting it. Don't cheat. Don't ruin it for people. If your going to post the answer, explain why and warn people and make it so they can not see the answer. Thanks!

I did this in my Programming class for logic. Sept it was black and white and all were sighted..>.<

yeah i dont understand, some explain how the first 2 guys didnt walk in and pick 2 red ones and the blind guy picks a blue one?

 

If you want to think about it, the main thing you must think about is the first two sighted people not knowing.

 

The answer follows below. Read only if you want to see the answer.















































Each person can either see a combination of:
Red-Red
Red-Blue
Blue-Blue

Because there are only two blues, at least one person is wearing red.

Person A looks and sees either red-red or red-blue, because if he had seen blue-blue he would have known he has red. He says that he doesn't know what he has.
Person B knows that both he and Person C don't both have blue hats, so if he saw a blue hat on person C he would have known what he had. He says he doesn't know what he has.
Person C (the blind man) knows this, and because he knows he doesn't have a blue hat, he knows he has a red one.

 

Well see what happened was the blind guy murdered the other two using the hats, therefore all the hats where soaked in blood making every hat red.
