4.0.0 !

Well, 4.0.0 released as of today, and man if i could i would skip the rest of the week to play.

Cant wait to see the DPS builds to come, and all the class changes,

The servers will be up within the next 10 minutes. Can't wait to jump on my warrior and start roflstomping some dungeons

I hate how they say that the servers will be back in one hour, and then keep on delaying it by 1 hour like 5 times >.>. Just tell us it'll take 2-3 extra hours!

Remember to test out directx 11 too when playing since it's available with this patch.

 

can anyone tell me where can i download the patch ( patch only) dont want blizz downloader to auto install

also, why are twinks back ? whats the update bout it ?

 

Currently there are only two active battlegroups where twinks can get games with XP turned off they are Ruin and Nightfall. To twink people pretty much have to Xfer their twinks away from their mains to servers on one of those battlegroups in order to play non xp BGs.

Come Cata though they are merging all battlegroups (http://www.wowwiki.com/Battlegroup If you don't know what a battlegroup is) which means that people will be able to twink without paying $25 to Xfer and be able to play. This will hopefully revive the twinking scene

The 4.0 revival I was talking about though was just for 19 twinks in Ruin because new talents etc are coming out people with be keen to test them, so lots of people will be playing.

 

i understand, but i would this an upgrade to the twink scene, but definetly not reviving it.

the fact of twinks fighting another twinks its still a problem: The idea of a twink its owning persons with the same level easily ( just like rs pures), if you are a twink, you are still fighting another twinks, so the fight its basically the same thing then before, u hit them for more, but they can resist more too.

This its just gonna make the queue "faster" ( for some people) and "posible" ( for other persons in non twinked battlegroups).

Blizzard killed twinks and they wont bring them back, atleast not on this patch, or soon.

Honestly, I can't think of anything good to say about this patch.

 

I'm sorry but you couldn't be more wrong. The idea of twinks is to have everybody in pretty much the same, perfect gear so that the only defining factor fights come down to is skill.

By removing twinks from regular peasants Blizzard helped the twink community in two ways, first off they removed the non twink players from battlegrounds, and then secondly they removed the twinks who were only playing because of an inferiority complex.

 

That its probably your opinion, but please read though wow forums, well its maybe too late now because the update that killed the twink comunity (separating twinks from normal players) happened a long time ago.
Most of the players werent arguing about queues, its not that hard to equip a twink if you know what are you doing, so transfering wasnt the main problem.

Anyways, everyone has his opinion.

Truth is this update itys going to help twinks. Great, good, decent, depends on everyone opinion, but its going to help.

Hopefully i didnt deleted mines.

Damn this patch total fails for hunters.
I'm really disappointed....and might cancel my subscription.

Yeah, I like the changes. I always thought mana wasn't the best for them and Blizz have outstripped themselves with the steady shot/focus system.
