Wind Rush ( The new spell ) & Slings ( The new ranged weapons )

Slings do not require ANY ammunition. Though their bonuses are quite crappy, ranged attack being +4 and ranged strength +6.

Wind Rush is spell that requires only 2 air runes to cast, or with Staff of Air, it requires nothing. Its max hit is 1 HP, or rather, 10 LP.

Sounds like people are going to be botting the shit out of places, becuase no Ammo? lol That would be sick, Just find a monster that has a SHIT load of like and click and safe for hours upon hours

I was using the sling for my range pure, and i was getting the same exp i would've with maple short and bronze arrows.

 

How fast was it?

Also, as I tried Wind Rush, it seemed to be more accurate than wind strike, so it's not good for AFKing.

You might wanna wear the best ranged armour you can, since the ranged bonus is so crappy

 

If the sling is good, then I might start training my f2p pure haha.

does any1 know any good monsters that u can safe spot and afk with the new spell?

 

Try a monster you don't have the slayer lvl to kill and safespot it, youll get exp for not hitting anything + it won't die.

They should be adding newer grandmaster quests for their higher level crowd.

 

The xp is poor on wind rush. Just tried it out, was getting roughly 5-7 xp a cast.

If people think they're gonna suicide 99 with it then their extremely dumb.

It will take forever, and by the time you get there your banned.

Both seem to be quite useless if u ask me

 

There can't be any 1def pures with those weapons since they require The Blood Pact and that gives def xp but people can use that spell xD
