to paranoid?

ok so ive noticed people on here are like SUPER paranoid about jagex seeing ther account
now i understand blocking out the name and a couple stats, but alota people now r blocking out ther avatar and shit

why is this?

i mean jagex and its affiliates cant even legaly view this website so why r yall so paranoid?

 

People will gladly hop all the worlds to find your character and report the hell out of it.

 

so what ur saying is ur goin to do all that to prevent some1 from hopping over 150worlds and somehow finding u?

 

If you account is very good, and has hundreds of mills and hundreds of thousands of people know the location and that you botting 24 hours a day.

Its extremely easy to find someone.

I ocassionally run into people from sythe while botting, i even stole iron ore from HamJamK's account xD

Too Seriously? Hmm Take some pics of your level 100+ Account with like 100m in the bank, and post some screenies with out your name blocked out.

 

My sythe name is same as my rs name. I don' see the hype. If i'm caught i'm caught.

I've hardly block out anything. I don't see the point since noone can see. and like goku usa, my sythe name used to be my rsn

 

I think the way I look at it (and probably a lot of other people too) is that you're better safe than sorry. Also, I wouldn't doubt a wannabe p-mod checking sythe for users to try to ban, people get desperate.

I block my name, nothing else. People are paranoid for no reason, they block some stats because of hackers [the stat's that aren't ranked]..

Apart from that, i can see no other legitimate reasons to block the names out completely.

 

If users feel its more secure to block out their account name/ stats, then so be it. If you want to know the name, a simple PM will do the trick. Closed.
