    Horrible Modding.

I know this doesn't go here, I don't think at least but im unsure of where to put it.

    http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=934755

That's the thread link, He locked it because he's claiming im using vouches as currency, Which im defintaly not doing. I just asked to be vouched on completion of any trades, Is there anything wrong with that?

In my mind i have done nothing wrong, I've put out a service to try make some cash, Asking for a vouch after a service is common practice, It's well known the more vouches a service has the more customers it will get through trust.

If I am wrong and this is against the rules then it's the worst rule i've ever seen.

You are requiring a vouch after the trade, thus, you are using vouches as currency.

you cannot ask someone to vouch for your service directly on the thread. You can ask them to vouch on msn.

What i can't ask to be vouched? Meh seems pretty pathetic to me.. It's not as though i've said 'I WANNA VOUCH I GET U 99 LEVELS IN FARM FOR VOUCH OK?'

Im just trying to boost my trust in the community, If that requires a load of vouches then im gonna ask for them.

You just twisted your own words around. To answer your question though, no, you may not ask to be vouched.

A vouch after a trade is good etiquette and will typically be exchanged, however forum policy states that you cannot require it as a prerequisite to start the deal.

You said that a vouch is required. You can't make someone vouch for you.

I don't think there's anything wrong with saying, "If the trade went well could you please vouch it would be appreciated."

Being arrogant won't get you trusted.

Why ask for my thread to be locked? If a mod thinks it should be locked they can lock it or I can ask for it to be locked, You have fuck all to do with this thread therefore shouldn't be asking for it to be locked.

Or am i wrong there too?

I supose I understand I kind of Demanded for a vouch although I still think your being over-sensitive about it. I'll accept it and move on.

Mind tell me where im being arrogant?
Also I could be arrogant and trusted, obvisouly im not going to gain trust through arrogance but I don't see how it'd stop me from being trusted.

I liked your post until you called me arrogant.

The thing that the mods are getting at is that you are not allowed to require vouches after service. I'd assume this is to try and defeat people who come here to get semi-trusted and then scam. Requiring a vouch means that you are paying for the service with money AND a vouch. Vouches are supposed to be optional if the person on the other side of the trade decides that you should be trusted or if your service is good. If that person does not believe those things, then they should not vouch.

I've traded on various black markets for over a year and a half and I've never really been interested in collecting vouches since i've always used OMM's and MM's but since trying to set up a service I've noticed Vouches are more important that's why I'am trying to get them.
I personally don't agree with them at all but if it's going to help me and people like them so why not.

Well, it does seem like vouches are important on this forum and seem to be a big deal. I think its because of that they have disallowed requiring vouches so that people provide better service so that people do vouch. I would just change the wording of the thread to what was suggested above and provide excellent service so that people will want to vouch for you.

Since it's already been explained that you were using vouches as currency, you can hardly consider a mod enforcing the rules to be "horrible moderating". Vouches aren't allowed to be used as currency, as if such a thing was done, it allows scammers to gain unnecessary trust in the market.

If you have a problem with the site, you're perfectly welcome to just get the fuck out and not annoy people with your nonsense.

Why do you continuously snap at everyone who answers your question?

You can't require a vouch. A vouch is like a 'thank-you;' people usually exchange them, but you don't see people saying "you must say thanks after the trade!"

    ....

Vouches are supposed to be given if someone is happy with the other party. Therefore, by requiring a vouch, it doesn't matter if the other person was happy with your service or not, thus, against the rules.
