Gay Suicides: My Opinion

In regard to the recent suicides of exposed/bullied gays, i found a video that perfectly expresses all of my opinions. And no it isnt me -.-

The first minute is a random rant about an unrelated topic though.

I have seen a gay person get bullied on the street by two lads and he turned around and battered them both, turns out he was a black belt in jujitsu and ti kwan do.

I was jogging with my dog at the time and saw the hole thing.

 

I like the guy that makes these videos. Some times he gets carried away, and over-exaggerates, but some of his stuff expresses some of my thoughts to the point.

 

makes some very valid points but is not my views completely..i do believe it is a part of being human but that both are victims and the problem is systemic..more needs to be done without pampering the truth

 

my thoughts on cyber bulling(lol) and just getting called names are similar to his.but when it gets physical i do have a different stance.
i have been bullied many times (both physical and verbal) and i am glad personally for the verbal abuse. i use to get very offended when people would call me names but now i don't care what so ever.i have better things to do then waste my time caring about what others say about me. and if it wasnt for all the verbal abuse i have had in the past i think i would still be one of those cry babies and wimps who get all upset when people say something about them.....it opend my eyes so to say.

this guy speaks the truth in a very bad way but his point is made out and i have to agree with him 100% bullies serve there purpose in life...

It wasn't a blind agreement. I feel the exact same way the guy does in this video being gay is a "Choice", your not born gay. Killing yourself over a choice you've made is quite ignorant, and like he said a pussy. Me "NOT" being ignorant will not put myself in any of these predicaments.

 

Their own choice really, I don´t really mind.

Trying being black in a predominantly white, racist community. I also have hardships which you haven't faced. Though i would never resort to suicide as a way out, that gives the haters what they want.

Truly interesting. I have performed in bands with black entertainers and black musicians for decades. I have taken the heat from club owners who were racist towards the black community. The fact is that Rock N' Roll, Blues, and Jazz does not derive from the white man. It was not emulated by the black community from someone else. It was created by them. Hypocrites that listen to the Rolling Stones and have nasty attitudes towards the black community for example. The Stones were English kids growing up on Howlin' Wolf and not Danny and the Juniors. If it wasn't for the black community, I wouldn't even want to play an instrument! I traveled with many black musicians on the road. They were my friends and we had a bond between us that had little to do with the color of our skin. I didn't like to see them get hurt so, I would argue with owners over bigot issues and defend my black friends, which in the end, we were asked to leave without pay. Think about it. If you took away jazz, blues, and Rock N' Roll, what kind of music would we have in America? Stephen Foster songs? Give me a break. If the black community had never entered this country, we would have garbage music. Sorry to go off thread. It's a theory of mine. Where would we all be without them? think about it. Think about the importance of Miles Davis. That will surely put things into perspective for you.
