College Apps Are DUMB

So... I was filling out my college apps a few days ago. I was doing the Penn State college app and I came across this:

Their whole website is a big fails TBH.
at the top right it says logout when ur not even logged-in.

 

Wow, that's pretty sad. They better fix that soon, or they won't be getting any new freshmen.

Haha that actually is quite amusing, I wonder what went through the programmers head when he/she was making the app.

 

Just call the admissions office, and they'll fix it for you. Not that difficult, don't make it harder than it is.

god dam college apps must suck balls. can't stand sucking up to wanktards bull shit. Best (only good) thing about Aussi education system is you only need to meet (pretty easy) academic results for all university's.


I got a question, about american higher education system. what is college? here college is only the an accomadation set up ~ normally only for 1st year students, only about 5-10% of people who go to uni will stay at college.

Is this the same in USA or does it mean university, does everyone who goes to university go to college? for the whole period or what?

College in the states means undergrad, bachelors degrees. University on the other hand offers undergrad and post grad, think masters, phds.

And yes Australian Uni apps are damn easy and simple compared to the states. You guys have to do essays, get teacher letters, god.

 

yea american apps are a bitch .... they take hours too do, ive got 3 due this coming Friday and still have to write another essay

 

Why aren't you using the Common App?

 

cuz penn state doesnt offer common app . only 4 of my colleges offer common app
