How to explain to someone u don't love them?

I was dating a girl for a short period but she left for a couple months and I never had a chance to really explain everything that was needed. She used the "L" word once while we were dating and I found it very awkward. Now she's back from ontario and completely clingy on my facebook wall and everything and sending me messages like 3 a day and trying to call me and everything. I don't know how to tell her that I like her, but I'm just trying this relationship out for fun mostly cause my sex life has been pretty dull since I moved here and who knows what will come out of it.

Is this wrong, should I just delete her off my FB or completely tell her off... or is a ok to explain to her love is a thing that starts small and grows over time and I don't even know her very well but I'd like to and who knows what will come out of it... maybe a solid relationship maybe just casual sex.

Just tell her that you don't like her like that. Don't wait until she REALLY falls for you that would just make it worse.

Well, all girls around that know me know that I don't say "I love you." very often, or to just anybody. The three words are practically sacred, and they were designed to be powerful and meaningful. If you throw them around people won't take you as serious, she won't take you as serious (that doesn't mean she won't fall for it)

I'm a guy too. If you tell her you love her just to improve your sex life...that's up to you. It's not really taking advantage persay, but in my eyes it would be more mature to tell her you don't love her, it's only at the "like" stage right now; that you're like friends with benefits. If you spend more time with her then maybe it could grow. Just tell her you want your next relationship to be meaningful and not rushed, and hopefully she can respect that. Best of luck!

If you're contemplating removing her from your life complete anyway, why not just tell her what you're telling us? What difference would it make?

It honestly depends on your intentions/character.

If your like most guys and just want some sexual experience/intimacy then yah tell her w/e to make that stuff happen.

Or if your a really good caring guy and you honestly don't like her and don't see yourself eventually liking her then tell her straight up we should talk, and then do what you gotta do and breakup. Although honestly the girls you date in highschool will most likely not end up being your future wife.

Thanks everyone for your opinions & advice. I told her that I don't love her and she was all like "Well I don't love you as much as somebody should love their mate but your really cute and one of the nicest people I met and I really like you"... I havn't seen her since then I just don't feel like hanging out and expressing my feelings or lack thereof. I am trying to think of ways to properly say this and I decided to just tell her I want to be friends and if she still kisses me and whatnot then I'll just take what I can get without the relationship. I almost want to get back together with her just to mimic this...

You could consider talking to her a bit more, now that you have the awkwardness out of the way. Maybe see if she's worth more than you originally thought.
