99 Skill?

I am few levels off to hit a 99 skill but after I get 99 skill, shall I stop botting for a bit or carry on?

 

I would carry on it may look a bit suspicious if you go from botting 10 hours a day to playing 2-3 hours a day.

 

Carry on for a day or two, do something on the side like Slayer or something, and then gradually stop botting.

 

The above posts are wrong, Jagex does not monitor your style; example being playing from 10 hours a day to 1 hour a day.

 

Proof? Being cautious never hurt.

 

They do monitor your style once you have been flagged.

 

The resources needed are great.

Although they can if they want.

Your above example means they dont check if you botting 24 hours a day for weeks, then 6 hours a day?

Ofcourse they check.

 

i went from botting about 18 hours a day on my level 127 to not even playing anymore. i would start the bot at about 9 pm then i would sleep go to work and come back at about 5 or 6 the next day and i would play it myself legitly. i would usually do slayer. then after im done i would start botting again. i did this for about 1 month straight. no ban no nothing. many times i was caught for hours in a random. now i am botting a character 24/7 and its been going for almost 2 weeks and no ban. ive botted probably 10+ 99 skills on various accounts none have been banned and ive always stopped as soon as i hit 99.

what you mean? soon as i hit 99 in one skill i start botting another skill to 99.

 

Thats not stopping... Thats changing skill...

 

Oh, so if I play 5-6 hours then I just follow the pattern and bot another skill when I get a 99 skill

 

Personally when I got my 99 I botted a different skill then pked for a day, and its been almost a week all good still, Just try to play normal now

Dont forget your drop party only Legit Players drop party for 99s

 

Well not all legit players have drop partys when they reach a 99 skill

 

I Agree with Gohan, They ban you for little silly things, best to be safe.

 

Try to keep the same amount of hours played per day the same for the next few days. What ever you decide to do in those hours just make sure it's some thing that people don't get banned for doing. I.E. Castle wars.

 

i would stop and just play legitly for a while just to be SAFE

 

What I usually did was when I was closing in on the 99 (like 95+) was I started playing more and more, and then suicide 98-99. Then after that, I would stop playing as much, as in I worked really hard to get the 99, and then I'm taking a little break from RS.

Hasn't failed me yet.

 

My one cent : whats the point of botting if it's going to make you feel all worried? :S

Just move onto another skill to trim it if the cape isn't already trimmed.
