our dog is a closet shitter?

ok we have 3 dogs. two of them will poop and pee on the wood floor openly. But our one dog poops on the floor all sneaky then runs to the door like she has to go out! how do i fix this? make them all stop pooping and peeing!

 

Maybe train them?

 

My dogs do the same thing, well at least just shit and piss openly. They are trained but they are douchebags and just like to go anywhere they please. You just gotta learn how to retrain them. Treat them like they were when they were puppies and they did it. I'm pretty sure they don't want to smell their own shit and piss. So they will stop.

 

Yea, usually when any of our animals would do something relevant to that we would just bring them over to the mess put their face close to it and tell them no, never press it in to it because thats not necessary and messed up.

You should get them trained by a professional.

 

Make sure you take them out side every couple of hours to use the bathroom, or maybe even seek professional help.

 

Um easy answer, take them out side for walks and train them. It's only natural for an animal to go, when they need to go. Maybe you shouldn't have three dogs, or any for that matter if you can't take care of them properly, just sounds like you're more worried about your hard wood floors.

 

Dogs are meant to live outside... Thus pissing and shitting openly As they would in their own environment.

 

If you have a garden take it out there , it usually barks if it needs a shit

 

Don't listen to the people saying "get him trained by a professional" there's no need for that. What you need to do, is take your dogs for a walk two to three times a day, take them an hour after their meal, or just take notes on the times that they usually pee/poop. My dog, for example, does her thing right in the morning, from 6-8 am, then again around 2-3, then again at around 7-8pm. Once they get into the routine, they get used to it, and every time they need to go, they will come to you and start barking/crying or whatever, my dog makes some cute squeals while bringing me or anyone in the house the leash to take her out .

 

Train it. Every time you feel as if your dog is going to piss/shit make it go out. If it does piss/shit outside, reward it.

 

You should probably train it. They also sell mats at pet stores that dogs find suitable to shit/piss on. They have odor blockers and they're super absorbent. Try those out if they still refuse to go outside..

 

And this is why I don't have any pets.
