Smuggling Oktoberfest Pretzel! The new RARE!

Ok, i've been trying to find a way to smuggle the new pretzel thats out, it will disintegrate after the next update. I wanna find a way to keep it past the update, any suggestions?

 

Don't you think they might implement it again at Oktoberfest next year?

I don't know how useful the smuggle would be.

 

I think it may be inpossible.

I tryed it with alot of items revieved during Holiday events.

Jagex Pretty much deltes the hole code from Data Base..

My thoughts are that Jagex is going to delete this item completely, thus deleting the item ID. All will fail if this is the case.

 

Whatever happened to all the dungeoneering items? Did the code for them get deleted outside of daemonheim too?

 

Yes, As soon as you leave daemonheim The items say "You are to far away from daemonheim". "The item Crumbles" Along those lines.

Might work, when the update is coming, spawn a summoning follower that can hold items, store the pretzel in it and wait for the update t ogo over. Log back in and you should still have your familiar -> take it out = profit??

 

They still exist outside of Daemonheim, though smuggling is difficult.

Not true. They will only disappear if you attempt to use them. I have 30+ different smuggled items in my bank, and they will stay there indefinitely.

 

I thought of this originally too, but concluded that it would be too easy.

I wonder why they don't just leave it like they did with the turkeys from Thanksgiving a while ago. I still have them.

 

Maybe..put it in party chest right before the update? Hmmm. I was also thinking of this.

 

Where do you get the pretzel

 

Right before the server goes off-line drop it, place it on a table, note it? Put it in the Grand Exchange? Sell it to a shop and buy it back.

 

Good luck with this, if you managed to pull it off I would reckon you could make a few bucks $$$ off it.

There's a seller outside east Varrock.

Drop Parties get reset. This wouldn't work.

 

What about within a random event where you are able to temporarily store your items on the ground, with an NPC, or in a deposit box? Sure it would be hard to encounter such a random event, but if you botted in Soul Wars for a little while and then emerged through the portal in Edgeville you'd be sure to be sucked in to a Random event of sorts. It would most likely only work with an NPC or deposit box though - having them on the ground would probably still get them deleted after the update.

lol i think even with the random event idea, the pretzels will get deleted

 

Things you put in a deposit box get sent to your bank.
That wouldn't solve the problem.

I can't think of any NPC's that hold items for you, either.

 

is it possble to note them?
