Your probably best posting this in the programming section for better answers.

If you want some good information I would suggest you research on the web.

    best type of coding?

php is for website based stuff, c++ is usually used to make desktop applications. Both are pretty useless for creating runescape bots ( I'm assuming thats what you want yo learn to do judging by the section you posted this in). You should probably learn java if you want to make runescape bots, however judging by the fact that you had to make a thread asking about this you wont be able to teach yourself how to code.

Java and C++ both have similar syntax. I suggest you learn C++ first as it is similar to many languages and is very diverse. After you know the basics in C then you could start to learn Object Orient Programming in Java, which could help with programming scripts.

    best type of coding?

You should start with VB (Visual Basic,Visual Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) .NET.
Its an easy and very popular coding language since its free!
Most people learn VB.NET on their own and later jump to a more difficult language (Most of the time a C-family language).

You will find hundred video's on youtube about it.
