This right here, is probably the worst time to bot.

JaGeX is updating what seems like every few hours (every time I load RuneScape, it updates) and they're banning botters like mad. It's really making me mad, since all I need is just 98-99 fishing. But no, I had to choose the worst time ever to do it. I can't run my bot for more than 2 hours straight now.

How I haven't been banned yet, amazes me. I've been caught in more randoms then I can count. Though I fish at lumby in mems world, where no one else ever is, so I figure that's why, since nobody has ever really reported me.

So just a heads up to any botters who are thinking of starting to bot a skill, give it a month, while JaGeX calms down with all these updates and bans.

 

I've botted over 16 accounts for 12 - 24/hrs a day within the last 1-3months. None of my accounts have been banned. One account is botting 24/7 and has around 250m. I started with 0gp. I know what I'm doing. People who get banned are just unlucky I guess.

 

It is the worst time to bot atm tho so be warned.

I just had my first account banned from botting last night. I was botting woodcutting at the yew tree by varrock east bank in a members world cuz there was nobody there.
I don't know if its a coincidence or if it really is a bad time to bot. either way I've stopped botting on my main for the time being

 

Been botting fishing for about 5h a day for some weeks now, no troubles yet... (babysitting all and doing randoms by hand)

Thank fucking god. I'm tired of these idiots who get free bots and run them for 24 hours for 7 days. Learn how to use a bot. This is just going to get rid of all the dumbasses who should have been exterminated long ago.

 

All it takes is replying to other players, not that hard. Ive NEVER been banned.

 

All these mass-bannings and updates are just targeting the extremely populated and highly botted areas - Living Rock Caverns, Soul Wars, Chinchompa spots, etc etc. As long as you bot smart and in relatively low key areas (such as the Granite Quarry where I powermine), then you should be safe.

 

Granite Quarry isn't exactly safe, many legit players actually mine there. Problem begins if they start talking to you

i know right! like some kids are like " omfg my powerbot soulwars bot got me banned!" its like, fk im so happy u got banned lol. less stupid ass botters = increase in prices = smart botters are happy

 

gonna have to agree, those that do get banned aren't botting properly and deserve to be ridden from the game so theres even LESS a chance of others being banned. retards with bot armies don't get it, the more there are, the more bans will be made.

 

I had my account mining for 16 hours straight today and there has been no updates? What are you referring to?

 

I hop until I find a completely unpopulated world - I usually babysit my bot and during this time I've not encountered one single other miner.
