75 def for dfs
90+ range
80+ Hp
And summoning if you want it.

 

This. Of course the best range you can get is nice, plus i think summoning is great to use, especially for stuff like macaws if you bot.

Well do you like high level pk or lower?
If lower then i would say 90+ range and like 80 def or so.

 

i had a tank, but now im making it maxed and working on another tank.

Honestly i dont consider tanks a tank unless they have 90+range and defesne along with vengence. ofc no more then 75 atk/str. the reason why i demand higher defense of tanks is most people have 70-75 defense and its not all that great. Once you hit the 85+ defense its starts letting you outlast your opponents food wise. You definitely want to get 90+ defense though or it will just becomes another account with high ranged and mediocre defense with failed melee stats. See what i am getting at? Look up i tank blood's new video called max tank competition in his channel. The video contains four famous maxed tanks at their best risking divine. rangers. archers (I), etc.

 

Well on that note yes it is true its harder to k.o with out vengeance because you just rely on bolt effect, but thats why theres also faster weapons to substitute with. Before i had vengeance i still k.o kids fairly easy. you just have to have a descent approach. I did a number of things myself, like i would use obby rings for fast descent damage then switch to c'bow with diamonds. Karil's bow with Morrigan's Javelins or Axe. Then the infamous Magic short bow with dark bow for k.o.

i would suggest you take it one step at a time

try out the pking by everytime you set your goal on a level and achieved it.

70 defence pking was fun, fast and pretty much more kills

 

An ideal range tank imo should have the following stats:
~40 Attack
~40 Strength
60+ Defence
99 Range
~80+ HP
94+ Mage
~52+ Prayer

 

yup i agree with him, take it one step at a time don't aim for 90+ on all your stats right now. set goals and then pk don't like it? aim for a bit higher till you find a suitable level that works for you. Eventually and if you want you will be a maxed tank.

 

It's better to get 70 attk and 70 str so def training can be easier plus you'll still be ranged-based.

95 prayer for? if your going to spend another 50m on turmoil which you really don't need i suggest you get 99 prayer then for the cape

 

Ideal tank IMO:
60 attack 88 strength 75 defense 99 hp 99 range 99 magic 75 prayer
Piety+Rigour unlocked. Barrows gloves. Veng. DT for bridding. DFS/ely if possible.
You'd wreck ~104cmb.
+0 bridding would be a cakewalk with no overheads.
+1 edge would also be favourable with msb-claws spec against zerkers/maxed pures/mains.

And if you can somehow get your hands on an ely its game over.

 

99 def, 99 range, 99 hp, 95 pray, 99 summoning if you want?

70 strength
90+ range
80+ defense

either 52 prayer for smite or 92 prayer for soul split
0 or 80+ summing, depends if you want to fight with a familiar
Then you just need 40m for for dragon fire shield and other gear and you should be set.

 

I have got one "tank": 99rng 83def 95mage 90str. I trained strenght for hybrids fight, but if i would create the new one i would not train 90str. Best tank would be 99rng, 75+def 70att 70att (for training, you will not lose your combat level) 52pray, 94 mage.
