    [Help] Easy Graphics Card Question

Hi sythe, I do not have that much money at the moment and I have a simple problem.

If I were to upgrade my graphics card to quite a good one (eg. around $200) and I were to get something like a Nvidia GTX blah blah, would my frames rate in the games I play increase HEAPS from a $60 graphics card?

I have a AMD Athlon 255 X2 (Dual Core) 6.2GHZ Processor, but I am wondering if upgrading it to a quad core would improve frames rate that much or does a better graphics card improve frames rate in games WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more than just getting a better processor does.

Yes it will, however, why waste $140 on a graphic's card. I have the 128 one, and I'm doing just fine. I do not no about the quad core part.

Processor isn't going to affect your frame rate much. You'll want a video card with a decent clock speed. A GTX450 should suit your needs easily.
