I saw this on another website, to me it's pretty much just a small laptop. Apparently it won't be able to handle some MMO's (Such as WoW) because it'll have a Linux operating system. They have to find some way to run it through the browser.

 

There is a runescape client.

Why do you assume so? Plenty of gamers and technology whores would purchase it, I know it caught my eye.

 

Seems like a good idea, though it would be better if they could implement this on the PS3 or something :S cause I might play runescape on my ps3 rather than buy a new devices to play it.

 

Yeah, I always thought RS should be available on Xbox 360 and PS3 (online only).

I give them props for releasing a new console in today's terrible economy. This release better make big bucks or they're gonna go lose tons of money.

 

Yeah but panasonic is a big company they know they can afford to lose some money so they are taking the risk.

 

WORST idea ever, unless they get some wireless carrier to join with them and make portable wireless internet, you will have to be either at a hot spot or at home, in which case, I don't see why dont you just bring your laptop or something, it makes you look normal, but this will just make you look like a major tool, no offence.
