Muted...For nothing. Lol!

Hi, I just hopped worlds and guess what, I'm muted!woot lol.
But the problem is, I don't know why, it doesn't show any offences, there's nothing to appeal, those two offence collums are green and says I have no offences at all. What the hell? Has it ever happened to anyone?

 

Mod muted you =) Might get unmuted before it expires too.

 

you will be un muted in a couple hours -- at max a day, mods don't need a reason to mute really, can just say opps i muted by accident and jagex doesn't care.

I'm already unmuted now, it was a 30mins mute xD.

About 2-3 years ago I went into a random clan chat I think it was elvemage and spammed a lin of @'s and was muted for like 2 hours.

 

Mods cant mute for only 30 minutes
..
Its 24 hours or 48 hours

 

Well, 30 mins after mute, I was doing a clue and wanted to see if I'm still muted...well I wasn't, now it says my mute is active for 1 more day and I can talk...Wow much lol.

Just wait until a Jagex mod checks it

 

P Mods can only recommend a 48 hour mute.
I believe you are then muted until a J mod (or some bot) inspects the evidence for the mute and either increases its length, removes it, or leaves it at 48 hours.

Would be cool if someone confirm/call bs.

 

Had this happening to me aswell, in the old days however.
