Being gay.

Just to confirm, your only rational argument against homosexuality is that it is immoral because they cannot procreate? If this is the case, then are you to also condemn unions of infertile women/men who cannot produce viable sperm as well as women who have gone through menopause, as they too cannot procreate?

Why care what other people like? I mean it sounds blunt but its the truth it's their life and they can do whatever they want with it.

Homosexuals in my book are perfectly normal.
Everyone is made different everyone has different opinions on what looks "good" and what looks "bad"

 

You are aware that being homosexual has to do with a problem with ones DNA at birth. There are 2 types of homosexuals. Those who chose it, and those who simply can't help it.

Scientific studies have proven that gay people are all missing something that's the same in all of them.

What I don't get is how the all loving, and forgiving catholic church and others still have the audacity to fight gay marriage.

 

I agree fully. I don't believe there is anything "wrong" with homosexuality. We as human beings have our rights to be attracted to what we are attracted to.

 

Prove to me that the everything contained in the Bible is true first.

A normal human being is one that acts like the majority of all other humans.

 

I wouldn't say they are mental odd but just view things like sex differently. If they chose to get with another man then that is their choice and shouldn't be insulted because of it. I wouldn't say that they "give in" to it either. I believe it is just a part of their human nature.

 

I don't see anything wrong with being gay. I wouldn't look down on anyone because their sexual preference is different from my own.

 

Our bodies are physically designed in a specific way. In 99% of humans the body and mind is programmed to do one thing - be attracted to the opposite sex. You have a physically body part that matches itself with an opposite.

If somebody has a corrupt mind that forces them to think otherwise that have an unfortunate mental illness. Their body is physically designed to be compatable with the opposite sex but yet their mind is corrupt and saying otherwise. MENTAL ILLNESS.

 

The amount of ignorance in this thread is astounding. It's not that the opposition to homosexuality in here is generally caused by bigotry, but it's rather caused by flat-out stupidity. Here's a lesson for those of you who have yet to come to grasps with the planet.

1: Not everything that parents tell you is true.
2: Very little that you hear in religious institutions is true.
3: Just because a voice of authority tells you something, it doesn't make it true.

It's quite obvious that the people in here that oppose homosexuality don't know any gay people. I am a musician, and I was actively involved in theater throughout middle school and high school and as such, I happen to have many homosexual friends. Now, I happen to be completely heterosexual, but I have nothing against these people. For starters, they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and if you even talk to one of them, you will know that it is definitely not a choice.

In regards to that, not natural? LEARN TO RESEARCH THINGS.

It is completely natural, and has been occurring naturally both in nature as well as in humans for literally thousands of observable years, and presumably earlier than that.

It occurs. Is it an abnormality? Well statistically speaking, it is, but it doesn't make it any less natural or any more wrong. It simply is. Nothing more, nothing less.

And come on people, Adam and Steve? If you buy into the story of Adam and Eve for anything more than the moral values attached to it, then you are purely uneducated because the impossibilities of that story being true are astounding.

Religion is no reason for hate, and even less so when you are too ignorant to learn the alternative viewpoint.

If you want to judge homosexuals, then look up some actual data. Get to know some actual gay people instead of just listening to what your parents and pastor have to say about it. You are a person, you are allowed to have your own thoughts, and indoctrination doesn't need to be your only source of knowledge.

 

It's funny how so many people seem to think all gay people want to have sex with them. I can almost definitely say that you aren't any more irresistible to gay people as you are to the straight members of the opposite sex. My view on this is that as long as they enjoy it and nobody is being abused I'm fine with it. I have no respect for people who think their insecurities or "holy" book give them the right to control what goes on in other peoples bedrooms.

 

Down Syndrome is natural as well. I see being homosexual as no different. They obviously have something fucked up with their chromosomes.
