Whoever said weed is harmful or should remain illegal is straight out illiterate. In no way at all is weed harmful. The only possible circumstance in which weed is harmful is if it's laced.

I honestly don't think if we legalized weed, everyone will be come anti-social at all... It would bring people together, it will create a common interest amongst people, therefore, eliminating a shitload of discrimination. I agree with whoever said that it will be legalized within 10-20 years, but I'm guessing it will take 10 at MAX, at least in Canada.

 

yea 10 to 20 years maybe sooner depends on the country really, some countrys it might be legal tomorrow who knows but they shouldent really make weed illegal when drinking is legal.. its stupid

 

I believe it SHOULD be legal, however i live in California and will be voting against it on prop 19, because It's already pretty much legal out here when you get a card. Prop 19 would just cut into my profits, which right now are quite lucrative.

Weed IS addictive, the active ingredient in it, TetraHydroCannabinol (THC) is a physically addictive substance, meaning people develop physical dependencies on it if too much is consumed. However it isn't VERY addictive, like tobacco is (or in extreme cases, Meth).

That would be because there is so little THC actually in pot, you would have to smoke your own body weight of good pot in 24 hours in order to overdose.

I personally believe that it should be fully legalized.

You see the difference is Back in 1800`s or whenever Canada and united states were born and laws were made beer or alcohol were very very popular and to outlaw it would start a war literally... weed wasn't popular until the 70-80`s and the democrats of that time thought it was a poison so they outlawed it... and implemented to all young people of the future that it is bad and should never be legal.

I say it should be legalized for the use of medinical use only. I've done it a few times then quit when I heard it makes younot smart.

 

I am posting before reading any response's to the question. My personal opinion about marijuana is, it should be legal. Its grown naturally and without adding anything except a little flame you can be feeling great. Yes it may be bad for you in some ways but for people with stress, pains, or yes eating disorders this may be good for them. If you plan to do drugs, GREAT its your life, people should be able to do what they want when they want, but be mature about it.
