This is basically a comparison thread.

T-Mac scored roughly a basket more per game, but Kobe had a steal more, nearly an assist more, and a rebound more then T-Mac. That year, the only stat (points, assist, rebounds) T-Mac beat Kobe in for playoffs was rebounds.
Both made First All-NBA team, but Kobe made All-Defensive NBA team.
