Infractions in the market section should mean more.

Almost every single thread about selling an account I post, it clearly says PAYPAL ONLY. Yet,each thread a group of idiots offers swaps,pins, something else. If you cant read a single thread all the way through then someone with your intelligence should not be in the market portion of sythe dealing with real money.

 

I agree with you but alot of new members, who are desperate to sell or swap their accounts will just do it anyways... they don't know what their losing if they do post on the thread not offering cash.

 

I think this is a problem too. There's always so many people, who even after being told not to, continue to offer swaps. Something should be done about it.

Either harsher punishments or 2-3 market infractions = 10 regular ones. Something along those lines.

 

10 reg infractions is like 2 temp bans isnt it Lol? Just because they annoyed you doesn't mean they deserve any punishment more severe then an infraction. I understand it may be a bit irratating but all and all its not that awful of them to do.

 

Not that big of a deal, just ignore them.

 

I dont understand why they should be allowed to use the market place when they cant read a thread all the way through and look for which payment method is accepted. Sythe should not encourage stupidity.

Not a big deal in your opinion. It may be for people who have shops.

Tell me one negative thing that will occur if my suggestion is implemented. I cant think of one.

Positives-
1.New and current members will read the rules because of the severe punishments.
2.Sellers and buyers will be more pleased because they do not have to read through threads of spam and spot the legit offers.
3.There will be less spam reports made which gives the sectionals more time to focus on something more important.

 

Just report it or PM a Market mod.

 

I mean a positive is it's a free bump pretty much.

 

If reporting it as spam deleted the post then I would have no problem with it. But it does not and it clutters the thread which I and probably other sellers find annoying / distracting to the buyers.

You can bump your own thread, then delete your "Bump." which still brings it to the top. I edited my previous post so please re-read it.

 

I guess if a user is doing that constantly on all threads, then the posts will be deleted.

You seriously think that we'll disallow users to stop using the market if they spam or try to make a bargain out of it the first time? Like I said, there doesn't need to be a more severe punishment because an infraction already gives a warning to a user. If they're constantly doing it, then report it, and we'll delete the posts. Simple.

 

a bargain is offering $10 when they say they want $15. Not offering an account when the person says they only want cash. Thats just being an idiot and not reading the sellers demands.

To be honest it really don't bother me when people do this. Its like a bump and all I have to do is tell them that I'm not interested. 2-3 infractions seems excessive to me. Thats half way to a temp ban.

 

I'm assuming when you said they're you meant if it is 1 person doing it then all of this posts will be deleted. Its never the same person. There are many members on sythe. 10 of them could do it once.

 

It takes like a minute tops to delete them.
