Looking for a guide to swopping my xbl GT

Not sure If this belongs here, sorry if it doesn't but I'm requesting a guide on how to swop my GT to a Rare one.

I own both accounts but the account I have live on, Points and everything is the account with a rubbish name and the rare name has nothing on.

I'm wanting to swop them around is there anything I should know before I change them, easiest way to do it?

Impossible sorry.

 

It's not impossible. It would just involve paying 1600 msp (Microsoft points).
Step 1: Change the name on the rare name account to whatever you want.
Step 2: After this, quickly log onto the account which has the bad name, and then change it's name to the now available rare name.

I thought after changing your gamertag, the original gamertag can't be used again until like a year or something?
