Ranging Question

What is better for ranging Black Dragons for my slayer task, Full Void Range or Black Dragon hide set.

Void is meant to be better, but the stats are considerably lower, what do you think?

I will probably be using rune crossbow + broad tipped bolts.

 

Voids a lot better.

As it is good for defence aswell.

 

I plan to safe spot, so defence doesn't make much difference.

Black D Hide has 58 more range bonus than void.

Void gives a 20% damage bonus. Easy decision.

 

I would choose black dhides, as I use them Also, slaying black demons is good with cannon too

Unless you just really want to fight black dragons I would kill baby black dragons it is so much easier and faster.

OT: I would use void and any other range boosting gear you have, if black d-hide was better people would use it over void to chin.

Full void, to get the range bonus up use amulet of ranging or ranging boots. With that you should be good.

 

If you have low range, than the hides for the range bonus, high range?, than use void for the higher damage.

 

Like all the other posts, go with void. The +10% range really helps
