Marijuana

I really don't know much about this subject but this is my view, if they allowed it they would get a lot more money that was being spent on police force trying to catch people selling it. That money could go to much better uses. I don't know about the effects of Marijuana though.

Right, but inhaling smoke does kill brain cells. Marijuana is bad for you but it should be legal. You can't overdose, it doesn't cause lung cancer, and it has medical use. If alcohol is legal then weed has every reason to be legal too.

 

There is no reason marijuana should be illegal.

 

No....There was a study done back in the 50s or 60s, somewhere around then. It tried to prove that smoking marijuana kills brain cells, they would pump massive amounts of marijuana smoke into these primates lungs, for about a year. The study showed a lose of braincells from the monkeys, but what they didn't tell everyone, was that they were suffocating monkeys. Which is why they lost braincells, not because of the marijuana smoke, but because of loss of oxygen to the head.

Smoking marijuana doesn't kill braincells.

Inhaling smoke will irritate your lungs, not kill your brain cells. The only way that could happen is if you suffocated yourself while smoking.

I don't care what anyone says IT IS addictive. I can tell you that from personal experience. When i first started i was like "Oh this isnt addictive" But now i can't stop so it is. Although it hasn't affected me too badly i just find it hard to concentrate and am more forgetful.

 

I've been smoking everyday for months. But right now it's been 3 - 4 days without and craving. I haven't gotten addicted to any of the drugs I've had. But I'm positive MJ wont get me addicted

 

i smoked pot for 7 years. i quit like 8 months ago i dont get cravings for weed at all

 

Anything used too much will eventually become addictive.

 

the way i see it the only thing u need to survive is food and water i didnt have any problems stopping weed even know it did no harm im just on home d witch makes it harder for me to get it so i stopped same with smoking but that was hard to stop.

 

But what the government are concerned about isn't health, or anything like that, it's what it'll do to society, they think if people smoke pot they'll cause antisocial behaviour, a collapse of humanity basically...but to be honest you don't see a pot head robbing someone in the street to get their next fix, you see them collapsed on the sofa munching a bag of doritos laughing at a comdedy, or sucking their next bong.

I smoke pot myself it's relaxing, it makes sober seem like death, everything's 100x better stoned.

I think the government are COMPLETELY stupid for not legalising it, it's a great prospect it would bring the UK out of the resession and all these cuts on benifits, ect ect...wouldn't have to take place and ruin the crappy economy even more.

 

if it was legal there would be less crime not everyone gets the munchies but in all my years from smoking pot i never seen anyone do anything like rob someone attack anyone just chill out and watch comedy channell pretty much

 

If it was legalized, the snack stores(General Stores, Dollar stores ect.) would be be in great progress.
