Display name changing

If your accounts permanently banned can you change the display name on it so you can put in on another of your accounts? I haven't got a banned account which still has member credits can anyone verify if you can or not?

but its been buggging me aswell for a while

 

No Because you need to be a member to change name and when your banned you are unable to become a member.

 

But you can have credits remaining on your account...

 

Still no. As the only thing you can do is Read messages and View Black Marks.

I have tryed it befor it wont let you.

 

I'm not sure... I know that if you change your display name to something offensive, and mods see it (good way to make sure this happens is post on forums) they can reset your username to a bunch of numbers, freeing up your original username.

The name will probably become free after some period of time. I don't think they'd just take the names out of the game.
