Hide *Banned* Peoples Post's.

But then there's many times when the banned person is saying something useful.. Lol

 

It cant be very useful if there banned...

+ in a thread the same thing normaly gets said about 6 times so...

 

Why is it not useful?

So say I made a guide to legitimately getting free shit for nothing, then i get banned, so now that post i made is useless?

 

What would be the point of having a thread if your banned?



Its no use to you and 90% of the time a Mod will lock the thread any way.

This is right, especially seeing as a lot of the people being banned lately were large contributors to sythe, and made a lot of helpful comments...

 

There still banned, there not welcome on sythe...

And im mostly talking about the under 250 Post Trolls/Evader/Scammers.

 

yeah, but you can't really just pick a line on post count, and chose to keep the ones above it and remove all posts by people below that. And even though they aren't welcome here, that does not mean that information they have given in the past is not valid, and helpful.

 

You make a good point Im not here to argue but Just sugget stuff to make Sythe look better.

Also, this is not an option to Delete but a Hide option.

 

No support. Alot of important/good posts are going to get deleted, and i see no reason to do it. Never going to happen anyway.

But I think they should hide the posts they make in 'Market Section'.

 

I agree with you there; but usually if I see like 5-6 people banned on a thread, I can tell that the seller on the thread or w/e is quite serious etc.

But I completely agree on the under a certain amount of posts, it should be hidden or be an option atleast.

 

Yer I think people are taking it the wrong way.

I mean like an option that you have in CP or somthing.

Its really annoying scrolling down and seeing *Banned* on every 2nd post.

 

The fact that a user is banned in no way means that their post contains no useful information. Many guides that have been written in the past were initially written by members who are now banned. The fact that these members are now banned means nothing, the guide that they created when they were still an unbanned member of Sythe has the same significance, and should remain up so that everyone can get the full benefit of their posts.

You cannot make a distinction between people with a certain number of posts, because there are many members who do not come here to whore for post count, as I can only say that you do, Voda, considering you have nearly 500 posts in less than a month, yet those with low post counts have still made valuable contributions in their time here.

No support at all for this, I think it would be a useless idea, and the thought of only making it apply to certain groups of people (for example those with below 250 posts) is, in my opinion, even more preposterous.

 

I cannot believe how many people portray leechers as scammers. Coming from you, Voda, you joined last month. You've basically no-lifed your posts to this point.

And yes, as someone said above, their posts may be useful. Obviously they posted this information and then got banned.

I disagree. I believe it will cause confusion. By the way, there are many banned people who made useful threads.

 

No support.. A lot of people who are banned have contributed useful things.

Ex: Look at Finally_Found_Freedom's post in SFA. He's banned, should all his posts be hidden?

Look up an old thread 80% is banned there.
If you were to remove all those posts you could not follow what happened there.
