Dungeoneering Mass Ban Double XP

Yeah so I noticed on the RS forums people were complaining about being unfairly baned for glitching in dung.



What happened?

How did the bug work?

Did you know about it at the time/ abuse it/ get unfairly baned?

 

Forgot how it worked but it was 1M/hour exp. Crab from Sythe was one of the biggest users of this bug he may of even been one of the founders. He posted a video of him abusing it just after it was patched.

 

Basically, when you start a new dungeon, you got the one you just did.

So you just go to the boss room (boss is dead already) and exit dungeon to get more experience (cause of the bonuses), then repeat.

bug abuse is ftw exept when you eat the hammer.

 

Those stories just prove once again what a failure jagex is...
Cmon, a game with millions of gamers and how many serious bugs have they released already?

 

yeah true^ but still Falador massacre had to be the best bug ever

 

i dont get why people abuse these bugs... they know they'll get banned and you barey get any xp...

You probably would have just been banned like every one else sorry.

 

I heard some guy like got to 120 dungeoneering and Jagex still haven't banned him.

It was like 1m exp an hour I think and you needed a group of people to do it with. Most people got banned unfortunately.

 

wow how long did this glitch go on? 1m an hour is pretty fast xp tho

 

Bug abuse gets you banned, yup yup

 

Any news on this?

Jagex should reset these people's Dungeoneering xp back to 0 and unban them to be honest.
