Just a suggestion about private messaging.

My sister own's a black berry, and she use's something called "BBM", and she told me when she send's a message that she can automatically tell when her friends open and read the message. Is there anyway to get this incorporated into Sythe's private messaging?

Just because I hate it when I send someone a Private Message and they don't reply for the longest time, I'd rather be a Gossip girl and know when I'm being ignored rather then waiting a week for a simple, "LOL".

I believe there is something already like this called a read receipt.

Is a read reciept availible on web browsers as well? I never really looked, but I don't think it's ever notified me when something has been read.

Wow.. People must ignore you a lot, if you want this incorporated xD...

I don't see why this should be implemented. There really isn't any reason for it unless you want to know if someone ignored you. If you get ignored, deal with it; message someone else.

Nah I've never sent a PM to anyone, that got ignored besides sending a few to Sythe, but come on, I mean who has time for my high needs anyways? I just think this would be a cool update.

If it could be easily implemented I don't see why not, but if it's going to take a lot of effort I don't really see a point.

I suppose it could be a useful feature. Not a necessity though.

Yeah. If you checkmark the read receipt, as soon as the receiver opens the PM they'll get a pop-up saying the sender requests a receipt. From there, they can either click yes to confirm or no to make you think it's still unread.

This receipt is the closet thing we'll ever get to your suggestion.

I was totally unaware of this, seem's that a lot of people are to. Thank's Nick. Btw, I think they shouldn't have an option to click yes or no.
