anyways.

here to ask about vesta long/corrupt pures, what their benefits are [better off hittin' up a pros/cons list, they actually mean something] and also, like.. cash required? and how fun is soul wars legitly? [not botting it, don't have the cash to buy the bot and well. everyone knows what goes down at the sw pit]

EDIT: okay so, now that ive decided to make this pure, i need a decent stat layout. my first idea was to boost str to 50 - 60 in f2p with 5 att, then go p2p and do death plateau for climbers etc. i'll be making the initial 10 - 15m in f2p [who the fuck said a VLS costs 16m? im not getting 78 attack rofl]
and also, i can go cheaper with the SWH [don't say its shit, ive seen it do well] oh and for those thinking im JUST using the corrupt wep, you have to be retarded, hardly anyone does that.

-5 att 50 str 50 ranged f2p
-20 att 70 str 55 ranged p2p | sound good? <- probably around 40 combat? hopefuly [if swed str i can be 37 combat 52(?) hp, 20 att, 70 str, 50 ranged..

And yes ofcourse you need a bit cash.

 

when you say a bit of cash, how should i bot it? don't say druids, i wana build this account up with 1 att and 60 - 70 str on f2p and get the cash botted [so if i get banned i don't waste $$ *touch wood*]

 

At least 10-15M to start it up.
And there is literally no chance you'll make the money back pking unless you only use corrupt for targ fights.

 

why not just use corrupt for ko weapon? don't use it for the whole fight or it will last like 2 fights max..

 

In answer to your questions;

Cash required - 16M for VLS, 2-3M for Pking supplies.

How fun is Soul Wars - Not fun at all in my opinion.

Also, the VLS is very expensive and degrades very quickly, no way will you make 16M an hour to pay for a new one.

I thought he was asking about the standard VLS.

In that case i'd recommend you concentrate on a different pure, corrupt pures cost way too much to fund in pvp.

 

Corrupt weapons will last you days as long as you don't use it and only it. Use Rune Knives, then as they get low pull it out quick and combo.

 

yeah combo it with some knives or darts and whip it out and own them then put it up. works most of the time

 

I'm pretty sure that I once read some where that every time you equip it, it counts as 1 minute of degrade time, whether it's equipped for 2 seconds or 59, it counts as a minute.

The vesta is a great weapon for a pure, if you have the money and well worth it if you have the stats to back it up.

Soulwars by hand; like the rest of Runescape, is very repetitive. It's fun for a few hours but after that it gets boring. Try find a good clan and chat with them.
