What would RuneScape be like if it stayed like it did?

If Jagex did not remove the trade limits, if they did not remove wilderness PKing, and other updates... What do you think RuneScape would be like?

Would it be prospering?
Or would it be failing due to RWT?

To be honest, although I miss the old RuneScape (and no longer play because it is gone), I believe it would of fell apart due to RWT.

 

A crap load of noobs RWTing, and hacking accounts, then selling them.

 

alot of people would be rich cause hacking would be around alot more lol and u could scam a few nubs out of some cash lol i think the game would be fucked i loved drop trading and getting free cash from people but yeah

 

There would be no runescape anymore then.
Runescape made those changes because goldfarming companies used stolen cards to pay for all their mems, jagex received tons of claims by the real owner of those cards and nearly got shutten down..

 

Unfortunately he is right. Runescape would be much more fun for a small while, but then the other companies would get a lot of money to do their trades and would eventually crush Jagex because of all the hacked credit cards they use.

Runescape itself would be extremely fun and I probably wouldn't be here if that never happened lol. But as stated above, runescape as a business would probably be shut down

I think it would still be fun, but I had no idea that stolen credit cards was the reason they tried to rid of RWT, lol. That bring a whole other perspective.

Quite literally, the very existence of Jagex as a company was threatened and had anti-RWT policies and game changes not been enacted, RuneScape as a game would no longer exist either. "

 

it honestly wouldn't have lasted very long, jagex was losing money rather then making it, they made the right choice

 

i think since the new rwt is alot harder is makes the game more challenging. which to me makes things funner. example when i buy a new xbox game i play it on the hardest difficulty because its more of a challenge. to me its just more fun.

If you can read above, which aparently you didn't, RWT would have shut down JaGeX and runescape. Which means it would be 'destroyed'.

 

It would be dope and there would be a lot more subscribers and getting 99 in anything would actually be a legit challenge. Now if you have a 99 people don't really care, or appriciate it as much.

 

JaGeX would be sued up there assholes. Runescape would ge tshut down and Andrew Gower Would be hanged by a nasty mob of people who got there Credit cards stolen, while chinese gold farmers are watching and laughing
