It's twenty light years away, 193,944,974,687,906.4 kilometres. We are never going there. The space hotels are whatever else that man was talking about is, I'm afraid, absolute rubbish.

 

Yes angel,but maybe some day we could travel that fast,or atleast get one thing to travel that fast to bring resources here,oil ect.

 

The temperature is between 70 degrees celcius to -4 degrees.. People goes crazy @ 40 degrees..

The funny part is.. Some scientiest says its 100% sure there's life on that planet, maybe not human life.. but unicellular organisms

It's quite a long shot. As the person above me basically said, the temperature is too high along with many other factors.. It's not gonna happen.

 

I agree with one of the comments on the youtube page. If we stop fucking up earth we won't need to do this. Problem solved.

 

Easier said than done. Although pollution may damage the environment, it's a key component to keep things running in everyday life. The government already monitors the marginal benefit cost to push it towards equilibrium of the marginal social benefit. There's heavy taxes that discourage wasteful and inefficient negative externalities.

 

A human body travelling at the speed of light would turn into a glob of snotty substance. Maybe, some day far in the technical future, a robot or satellite can go there, but not a human.

 

As well as what the person above said, there's also the issue for when earth become uninhabitable. When the sun turns into a red giant, we can't live on earth, so to continue the human species, we will need to move somewhere else that is habitable.

 

Dont think,well "we" have to worry about that....6 billion years from now the sun will turn into the red giant you are referring to and run out of gas.

 

well yeah 'we' won't have to but i recall saying that if we wanted to continue the life of our species 'we' as a species would have to some day.

Try,Try And Try Again "We" have a lot of time to make something that can Go fast.

 

Doubtful, but I always thought what if you were to send a bunch of smaller shuttles into space, that join up (each one filled with resources), and then it forms one bigger shuttle that would carry 10-20 people to that planet. The people themselves might not get there, but their grandkids, or great grandkids would get there eventually all they would have to do is reproduce.

Of course the amount of resources needed would be immense, but if we are ever going to get there I think that is the only way we could do it to save the human race.

 

Can't this happening within our lifetime like this guy said.. but yeah cool concept

 

Get off your computer then, Turn your electricity off, Don't use your car, never fart, stop eating animal products and stop eating company made products which are packaged using horrible packaging.
