NHL Discussion

Haven't seen an NHL thread yet. For those who don't know what NHL is it stands for "National Hockey League." I guess we can discuss hockey here. The season starts OCTOBER 7th. If I see more people here support hockey and are interested in a thread I'll add more to this opening post.

My favorite team is the New York Rangers. I named my account after them and the year they won their last Stanley Cup (1994.) My favorite players are Marian Gaborik, Mark Messier, and Lundqvist! ! Ive been waiting since last June for hockey to start again, and plan to go to 20+ Ranger games this year. (LGR!!)

Also if anyone is interested in starting a Sythe Fantasy Hockey League just post that your interested. We're looking for around 10-12 people to join.

I gotta admit the RedWings are pretty good, but I don't see them contending for a cup this year. They just seem too old to me to be keeping up with Chicago, Vancouver, etc...

And yeah we crushed you guys the otherday but two games ago you beat us, so we're even

 

Red Wings are always a contender haha, last year was a slow year for us, Franzen was out the entire year basically and our best players didn't put up good numbers and we still did pretty good. I'm going to the game tonight vs Toronto

Phoenix is a good team now, Lee Stempniak (sp?) is one of my favorite players. They are gonna be pretty good this year.

I've been to a couple Carolina Hurricanes games. They're very fun to go to.

 

I think last year was a fluke. I can't see them finishing higher than 7th this year.

And I just got back from the Rangers vs Senators game

 

If any of you want to start up a sythe Fantasy Hockey league, just post here if you're interested. If theres enough people (10-12) I'll start it up.

 

I love the RedWings. I used to watch every single game back when Steve Yzerman played.

As much as I hate the Penguins I have to admit they're a great team. Your lucky to have Crosby, Malkin, Staal, and Fleury. I would go into how you tanked to get those players, but i'll save that for another time
